Linda Ronstadt spotted Don Henley at the Troubadour and hired him for her tour. She called Glenn Frey for guitar. Money was tight, so Frey and Henley shared one hotel room. They stayed up all night playing music and decided to start a band. Ronstadt offered her living room for rehearsals and went out to a movie. When she came home Witchy Woman was
