Haaland and his father paid 1.3 million Norwegian kroner (about £100,000 / $134,000) for the only surviving 1594 first printed edition of Snorri Sturluson's Heimskringla. It was a Norwegian record. They donated it to the Bryne library on the condition it stays open for the public to read. C
