that is how you cook a steak to perfection and i did everything with my cast iron skillet you can use any steak you like but i m using a ribeye i like to keep my season very simple with salt freshly ground black pepper and garlic powder nothing else it is very important to put a good amount of oil in the pan if not you won t get a good sear when you lay your steak down you shall hear a sizzle let
