I grew up in a "fat acceptance" family. I went from 280 to 180, with 30 more to lose. In 2 years I went from being fat, depressed, and lazy... to happy, growing my own food, and exercising every other day.
Prayer. Dear God, I thank you that I have my identity in you. Thank you for your son, Jesus Christ, and what he did for us. It is because of Him, I can call you Father. It is because of Him, you see me as your own – righteous, holy, and whole. I will be eternally grateful for this gift, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
