And when death finally finds me,
I hope it doesn’t come as a stranger.
I hope it leans close and whispers,

And when death finally finds me, I hope it doesn’t come as a stranger. I hope it leans close and whispers, "Come now... the fight is over." I hope it takes my hand gently, like an old friend who knows my name, who understands why my bones are tired and my heart has learned to ache quietly. IT'S A HARD TRUTH...
ONE DAY WE'LL HAVE TO LIVE
WITHOUT THE PEOPLE WE LOVE MOST.
A PARENT, A SIBLING, A BEST FRIEND,
OR THEY WITHOUT US.
SO HOLD THEM CLOSE.
APPRECIATE THEM NOW.
BECAUSE NONE OF US ARE
PROMISED FOREVER.

His tortured flesh opened a holy door,
A grace, a love we haven’t seen before.
For 6 painful hours, he bore the weight of sin,
And by that act, His blood brought the win.

Each breath, a gift, He chose to give,
So deadened hearts could rise and live.
The nails held fast, yet love ran free—
A cross-shaped door to eternity.
