Before you pass away, remove your children as the beneficiaries for everything that you own. I know that sounds crazy, but you DONT want that.
If you want to pass down your assets to them after you pass away, then put all of the assets you own in a irrevocable trust, and then make your kids the beneficiaries of that trust.
